The Zebra Mussel Trigger Structural Disasters

The zebra muscle is really a small freshwater types of muscle. They get their name from the stripped pattern which regularly adorns their shells, thought not all members in the types will bare these marks. They generally measure the size from the average mussel to be the size of the normal human fingernail but can grow to some maximum length of practically two inches. Safely contained inside of their D shaped shells, zebra muscular tissues possess ’strings’ or byssal threads that emerge from their umbo around the dorsal side.
